APAC Roundup: 18 March 2026
Zhipu, Minimax, Alibaba, GDS, Wasion, UMS Integration
Zhipu (2513.hk) +19.5%
Minimax (0100.hk) +19.8%
I’m sure both MiniMax and Zhipu caught some hype in China as a result of NVIDIA’s heavy emphasis on agentic AI at GTC 2026 — specifically Jensen describing OpenClaw as “the operating system for personal AI” and “definitely the next ChatGPT.”
He also stressed that “every company in the world today needs to have an OpenClaw strategy”.
Minimax also started trading as “MINIMAX-W” today, reflecting the fact that it meets HKEX’s revenue threshold to remove its “pre-commercialization” status. PR here.
