Japan: Ex-dividend today

Much of Japan went ex-div today. Among the companies we follow that includes Seikoh Giken, Innotech, GL Techno, JEM and Fujibo.

Optics and CCL remain investor favourites so we would flag that Seikoh Giken, Sumitomo Electric, Nittobo, and Resonac are around their 50-day EMA.


TSMC: Citi base case now NT$ 2,800; bull case NT$ 3,000

Citi’s 2027/28E EPS are 18%/28% higher than Bloomberg consensus.

Citi’s capex estimates are US$67bn in 2027 and US$75bn or higher in 2028.

Surely Uncle Wei can be persuaded to go for US$70bn and US$80bn in 27/28.

It looks like the TSMC capex winners in the last month were All Ring Tech and GPTC:
