AT&S added to Citrini Dynamic AI basket; also featured on CNBC (Youtube)
AT&S has been a recurring topic on this newsletter since last November and has benefitted from substrates being called out by multiple technology leaders. Substrates has arguably overtaken memory as a new favourite bottleneck among investors.
Last week AT&S announced the expansion of its partnership with Marvell, which echoes Matt Murphy calling out substrate capacity at the Citi Conference and saying that he had been visiting suppliers all week:
Adding AT&S to its “Dynamic AI” basket, Citrini cites increased manufacturing complexity, meaningful capacity expansion being years away, and CPU demand growing 25% CAGR for next four years driving ABF substrate demand.
In the CNBC video out over the weekend, AT&S touts co-development with big AI players and is cautiously optimistic about changing their perception from T2 to T1 supplier.
